Mission: To teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding using biblical principles; edifying God's people (as many as the Lord will call) to live victoriously thereby creating a ripple effect in the community leading more and more people to Christ.
We are a testimony of God's upholding right Hand. God has called us in these times to do an URGENT work - build the church, the body of Christ. We are passionate about reaching out to the community by giving back and meeting God's people where they are. We share the love of Christ by teaching people to truly know the triune God and empowering and equipping them to finish the race - STRONG.
We know and have seen that once believers truly know the mighty saving power of Jesus Christ and are built up, the passion to do the things of Christ is placed in their hearts and all they want to do is talk about Jesus. The love for Jesus becomes contagious and they share with everyone including the community, work colleagues, friends and family. Hence, more souls are added to the kingdom of God. We are all about seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and believing everything else to be added to it.
Leadership Team
Rev. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Urban Education Policy from City University New York; was an Assemblies of God Adult Sunday School teacher for many years and former Board Secretary of QPlace (a.k.a. Neighborhood Bible Studies). He has a strong burden to help people achieve their academic dreams. He gave his life to Christ in 1988 at a Campus prayer meeting and his life has never been the same since that warm August evening. He leads the Higher Education Outreach Programs.
Rev. Belinda has been a featured guest on TBN, The Harvest Show and REJOICE and other radio shows. In 2001, she started writing empowering devotionals encouraging hundreds of people worldwide to not quit and to look up to Jesus. Over the years, she has received several testimonies about how God has used her teachings to touch people’s hearts and to change lives. Today, thousands across the globe are being blessed and lives transformed through her Holy Spirit inspired messages. Her first book, The Exalted Horn: Lessons at the Feet of the Holy Spirit was published in 2003 and in 2009 her second book, The Bilhah Moment: How to wait on God in desperate times was released. Rev. Belinda is a frequent speaker at conferences and teaching seminars. She holds an LL.B (J.D.) from England and LL.M. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York. Rev. Ben and Rev. Belinda are the blessed parents of three children.
The vision is bigger than us and that is why we are desperately dependent on the Holy Spirit for direction and impartation. Christianity is much more than Sunday or mid-week services. Jesus met the people at the point of their need with love and compassion. At Persistent Faith Ministries, we teach, preach, share and show the love of Christ.
FOUR Faith and Spirit-led Steps:
We take the message of the Cross outside to the people of God; Lead (or reconcile) them to Christ; Bring them into God's House AND Build them up based on His Word.
We are not reinventing the wheel in areas where there are already churches. Instead, we take the message of the Cross outside to God’s people; to the community. People are hungry and desperate for ‘something else’ and we aim to teach and direct them with simplicity and understanding that the ‘missing link’ is indeed Jesus Christ.
It’s not enough to teach and preach the Word of God in a structure. Part of building the temple is to meet the people where they are and we do this through outreach events, conferences, television, seminars, pure praise and worship nights, breakthrough prayer meetings, crusades, bible study and much more.
